Such chemicals can include surfactants, which you can find in detergents and cleaning products because they make dirt or oil easier to wash away. Here’s what you need to know about surfactants and how they affect us.

While surfactants are indeed helpful in keeping dishes and clothes clean, it has to be disposed of properly through treatment.
